He lifts his hand automatically to his head before remembering that he wasn't wearing a hat today, and nods politely instead, but he can't seem to stop from staring. "My apologies," he replies, a soft smile on his face. He's surprised to be addressed, even if his gaze had followed the slim figure around the market for a few long moments, far more than was appropriate for a man he knew was married, if ever it was appropriate to stare like that, utterly captivated.

"It's fallen out of fashion, of late." It's far from an excuse, but he's not sure what he's saying anymore as he offers a hand out, motioning for the basket he is carrying.
